Xiaochun Luo


Xiaochun Luo is a professor in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering at South China University of Technology, China. He worked as Assistant Professor in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering (2005.7 -2009.12) and worked as Associated professor in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering at South China University of Technology (2010.1 - 2014.9). He worked as Visiting Scholar in the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Georgia (2004.10 - 2015.3) and in the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Bachelor degree from School of Life Science, Wuhan University (1993.9-1997.7), Master degree from Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academic of Science (1997.9-2000.7) and PhD degree from School of Life Science, Sun Yat-sen University (2002.9-2005.7). His research focuses on the nitrogenous waste biorefinery by enzymes and microbia, including poultry keratin waste and chitin waste.
